Quick adapter for excavator is additional element with purpose to allow quick changes of excavator tools (element like spoon or Kocher). Aim of this project was to develope quick adapter for specific excavator (Liberty 420) and specific shape of spoon. A main issue that needed to be resolved was to meet space and load constraints (problem with loads and with space for element for locking of quick adapter). Complete estimation of loads and design of all parts for quick adapter were done. Welded parts FEA was done also.
