Cooling tower design

In order to meet specific customer requirements during thermo power plant cooling tower reconstruction we were involved in design of steel structure, water distribution system, thermodynamic calculation and CT fill selection. Currently we are engaged in supervision of CT setup.

GET project team was responsible for:

• Complete redesign of two 15MW cooling towers in order to meet new requirements
• Additional requirements as resistance to fill fouling due poor water quality
• Complete design including:
• Water distribution system
• Steel construction with detailed technology of CT assembly
• Calculation of thermal properties of cooling tower
• Calculation of thermodynamic performances
• Structure stress analysis
• Calculation of water distributing system
• Pipeline calculations
• Increase of water by 60%
